If your SoundTouch system supports Bluetooth, you can easily access music wirelessly from Bluetooth devices, like smartphones and tablets.

Before you begin

  • Make sure that your SoundTouch system supports Bluetooth. For more information, see SoundTouch systems with Bluetooth connectivity
  • If you haven’t yet, set up your SoundTouch account using the SoundTouch app and choose to install any available system updates. If you have trouble with updates, visit the Software downloads page for links to updates for your system

To pair a Bluetooth device:

In the SoundTouch app, select Menu (≡) in the top-left corner
Note: On desktops and tablets, if the Menu icon (≡) is not visible, the slide-out menu might already be open

Choose “Settings > Speaker Settings” and select your SoundTouch system to view the system details screen

Choose “Bluetooth” and select “PAIR”

On the Bluetooth device you want to pair, go into its settings and turn on Bluetooth

In the device’s Bluetooth settings, select your SoundTouch system from the list of available Bluetooth devices (Note: You might first need to choose “Search for devices” or “Add new device” before the device can find your SoundTouch system)

Once paired, you can play and stream music from your Bluetooth-enabled device to your SoundTouch system
