Reconnecting a Bluetooth device that you have already connected

Your product remembers the last several Bluetooth devices it was paired to so that it can quickly and automatically reconnect to them. This is useful if your product connects to a different device when you turn it on, or if you just want to switch to a different device.

Select a Bluetooth® device that you previously connected.

To select a device from your product memory, voice prompts must be on. If you turned them off, see Enabling or disabling voice prompts for help turning them on. When reconnecting a Bluetooth® device as described below, you can only connect to one device at a time.
  1. With your product powered on, press the Bluetooth button to hear which device is selected.
  2. Within 2 seconds, press the Bluetooth button again to select to the next device in memory.
  3. Repeat step 2 until you hear the name of the device you want to connect.

If you are unable to connect a Bluetooth device

See troubleshooting for Cannot connect a Bluetooth device.

Your speaker connects to the two most recently connected devices.

You can store up to eight devices in the speaker device list, and the speaker can be actively connected to up to two devices at a time.
When powered on, the speaker automatically connects to the two most recently-connected devices.
You can play audio from only one device at a time.

NOTES:
  • The devices must be within range (30 ft or 9 m) and powered on.
  • Make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled on your devices.
  • If the speaker is connected to a USB audio source when powered on, it doesn’t reconnect to any Bluetooth devices. To reconnect to a device, use the device Bluetooth settings.
To reconnect to a different previously-connected device, use that device's Bluetooth settings.

NOTES:
  • The device must be within range (30 ft or 9 m) and powered on.
  • If two devices are already connected to the speaker, you must disconnect one of them before reconnecting a third previously-connected device.
