Google Assistant does not work

If you are unable to use Google Assistant with your product, try the following:

If you're using an iOS device, Google no longer supports the Google Assistant as an integrated feature on your headphones.

As of December 7, 2021, Google will no longer support the Google Assistant as an integrated feature on your QC35 II headphones when connected to an Apple mobile device. To continue using a voice assistant as an integrated feature on your headphones, please pick another option in the Bose Connect app under Settings>Action Button. Google Assistant will continue to work as an integrated feature when your headphones are connected to Android devices.

Be sure your headphones are connected to an Android device that supports the Google Assistant.

Your headphones can open the Google Assistant on a connected Android device. However, older versions of Android do not support the Google Assistant. On these devices, it will not be available with your headphones either. To check if your device supports the Google Assistant, disconnect your headphones from the device, then try accessing the Google Assistant directly from the device.

Be sure the Action button has been programmed for the Google Assistant.

In the Bose Connect app, you can select what the Action button will do when pressed (i.e. change noise cancellation level or access the Google Assistant on Android devices). For more info, see Setting the Action button behavior.

Reboot the Bluetooth® device.

Electronics, such as cell phones, tablets or computers, might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. This is typically done by shutting down the device, then powering it on again.
