Putting a system into Setup mode
Entering Setup mode lets you connect a device to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Bose system. This is useful for system set up and diagnostics.
Enter Setup mode.
If a Bose app or instructions ask you to put your amplifier in Setup mode:
- If an Ethernet cable is connected to the amplifier, disconnect it
- On the back of the amplifier, simultaneously press and hold the Bluetooth button on the front of the amplifier and the Reset button on the back for five seconds until status light on back blinks amber
- For next steps, refer to the Bose app or instructions that asked you to enter Setup mode.
