Putting a system into Setup mode
Entering Setup mode lets you connect a device to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the Bose system. This is useful for system set up and diagnostics.
Enter Setup mode.
If a Bose app or instructions ask you to put your system in Setup mode:
- Disconnect the power cord and any other connected cables, then wait 15 seconds
- Re-connect the power cord, then wait 30 seconds
- On the bottom of your product, press and hold the RESET button for about two seconds until the Wi-Fi light is solid amber
- Wait about 30 seconds until you hear a tone from your product
- For next steps, refer to the Bose app or instructions that asked you to enter Setup mode.
