Muting or un-muting the voice assistant microphone
Your product listens for a wake word (i.e. "Alexa" for Amazon devices) so you can interact with your system by speaking. You can mute the system's microphone and stop it from listening for and responding to wake words. This is useful, for example, if you're are explaining the voice feature to someone and don't want the system responding during that time.
To enable or disable the microphone in the soundbar:
Tap the microphone icon of the top left side of the soundbar. An LED on the front glows red when the microphone is disabled.
The microphone can only be activated if a voice service is added to the soundbar in the Bose app. The microphone cannot be enabled or disabled via voice commands or via the Bose app.
