UNRIVALLED VOICE PICKUP

Crystal-clear meetings. For you and them.

Make wherever you’re working from the ideal conference room. Bose Headphones 700 UC feature a revolutionary microphone system that delivers game-changing voice pickup, so you don’t have to worry about background noise disturbing your meeting. Six mics work together to cancel the noise around you so you can hear the caller better, while four mics combine to improve the clarity of your voice so the caller can hear you better, first by isolating your speech and then by suppressing the most disruptive remaining sound around you. It all happens in real time and adapts as you—or the source of the noise—moves.

CONTROLLABLE NOISE CANCELLING

Just you, your headphones and your work.

Wherever you get work done—an open office, café or your living room—you get to personalise how much of your surroundings you hear. These noise cancelling headphones offer sound control that’s available only from Bose, including 11 settings that range from full noise cancelling (which helps isolate you from your surroundings) to full transparency (which helps let your surroundings in, as if you weren’t wearing headphones at all). Choose between the peace and quiet you need to focus, or the awareness to collaborate with colleagues.

ASTONISHING SOUND

Premium performance for better calls

The patented active noise cancelling technology in Bose Headphones 700 UC uses microphones both inside and outside the earcups to monitor the sounds around you and instantly produce an opposite signal to cancel them out, creating an empty stage for your audio to play on. At the same time, our proprietary TriPort acoustic headphone structure uses external ports to vent the earcups and maximise the acoustic space inside. What does that all mean? You get enhanced sound no matter which platform you’re using: Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom and more.

USB MODULE FOR PRE-PAIRED CONNECTIVITY

The included Bose USB Link Bluetooth module keeps your Bluetooth headphones pre-paired to your computer for a seamless wireless audio experience. That means you’ll always be ready to quickly jump on calls—whether it’s a last-minute chat, team brainstorm or a company-wide meeting—and switch between audio sources.

PREMIUM DESIGN & COMFORT

COMFORT THAT LASTS THROUGHOUT THE WORKDAY

Even though we’ve been making noise cancelling headphones for decades, for Bose Headphones 700 UC we began with a clean slate. The result? Comfortable headphones with a head-turning new form factor, designed for all-day, everyday use, as much for work as for play. Featuring earcups tilted at 15 degrees to mirror the anatomy of the human head and ears. Ear cushions made from elegantly plush protein leather. A streamlined steel headband with an underside of silicone-covered foam. And so much more.

SIMPLE CONTROLS

Speak, swipe or touch.

We worked hard to make Bose Headphones 700 UC easy to use. The right earcup features capacitive touch sensors, so you can manage volume, calls and music without looking at your phone. There’s also a dedicated Microsoft Teams button, which lets you easily join a Teams meeting and bring the Teams window to the front on a Windows PC. Use the Bose Music app to access selectable EQ, manage your Bluetooth® connections, check your battery life and more.

When the USB Link is not connected, you get access to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa* built in to control your music and more.

* Voice services (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant) may vary and may not be available in all languages and countries.

FAQs

How are the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC different from existing Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700?

The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC are designed to give you better conference calls. While both Headphones 700 and Headphones 700 UC utilise the same adaptive eight-microphone system, 11 levels of noise cancellation and astonishing sound, the UC version features the added benefit of the pre-paired Bose USB Link Bluetooth® module and certification for use with Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. The USB Link allows users to stay reliably connected to their computer and to easily toggle between computer and mobile phone.

What does UC mean?

UC means unified communications. It indicates use with unified communication platforms that offer audio and visual elements, in addition to other collaboration tools, for meetings with remote participants. This addition to the name of the existing Headphones 700 is to indicate that these are similar in functionality to the consumer headset but are intended for the workplace, where you are communicating via unified communication platforms, such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Zoom.

How do I pair Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC with my mobile device?

First, make sure your headphones are turned on with a single press of the upper button on the back of the right earcup. Next, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to put the headphones into pairing mode. Please note, if this is your first time connecting the headphones, they will automatically turn on in this pairing mode. Voice prompts will provide you with additional guidance. When the Bose USB Link Bluetooth module is plugged into your computer and both your computer and the Headphones 700 UC are powered on, you will be able to easily change audio sources from mobile device to personal computer.

Can I be connected to two devices at the same time, for example a computer using the USB Link module and a mobile phone?

Yes. The Headphones 700 UC use multipoint Bluetooth technology to connect to two devices at the same time. Audio or communications from either device can be heard in the headphones, but only from one source at time.

Can I use the USB Link with another Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 (i.e. from a colleague)?

We recommend using a dedicated USB Link module for each Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC in the organisation.

Do I need to install additional software to use the USB Link?

The Bose Music app should be used for initial setup of the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 UC. To ensure the best performance, we recommend using the Bose USB Link Updater application for Windows and Mac to keep the firmware up to date.

How does noise cancelling in Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 work?

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 use both active and passive noise reduction technologies. Active noise cancelling relies on a sophisticated proprietary-electronics approach using microphones both inside and outside the earcups to monitor the sounds around you and instantly produces an opposite signal to cancel the noise. Meanwhile, passive noise reduction is achieved by the combination of the acoustic structure and the earcup fit.

How many microphones do the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 have?

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 feature a total of eight microphones. Six microphones dramatically cancel noise, so it doesn’t reach your ears. Two of those microphones combine with two others to dramatically improve voice pickup. A beamform-array isolates your speech, suppressing everything else that’s audible. A rejection-array adds a second line of defence, tracking then blocking the most disruptive remaining sound—from a coffee grinder to other dialogue nearby. It all happens in real time, adapting as you move or your environment changes. It works with any VPA, any phone paired to the 700s, or any phone or phone/headphone combination on the far-end.

How long will the battery stay charged?

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 use a custom-designed lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 20 hours of full-featured audio playback.

How do I control volume or manage my content with the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700?

The front half of the right earcup houses our touch interface for basic controls. This includes intuitive gestures like slide up and down for volume control and slide forwards and back for track forward/back controls. In addition, a double tap will pause or play your content and also answer or hang up a call.

Will there be software updates for my Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700?

Bose Headphones 700 are carefully engineered to be compatible with future innovations. Through a series of software updates, Bose plans to add new features and even more impressive sound management features over time. Simply register your new headphones on the Bose Music app and Bose will alert you as each new feature becomes available.

How do I use my phone’s default virtual assistant?

Using the lower button on the back of the right earcup, Bose Headphones 700 give you access to your phone’s default virtual assistant, like Siri.

How do I set up the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa as my preferred voice assistant?

Voice assistant is available on the Headphones 700 UC when the USB Link is not connected. Use the Bose Music app to set the lower button on the right earcup to control both Microsoft Teams and either Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The app will guide you through the setup process, allowing you to set up an integrated button access feature that will automatically connect to your voice assistant app.

What happens if I’m in a country where the Google Assistant or Alexa is not yet supported?

The Bose Music app will guide you to select from a given region’s available features. For regions where only one is available, the app will automatically display the one you can select. In regions where neither is available, the voice assistant button will default to the native voice assistant available on the mobile device.
